With the way that today has unfolded and information has become available throughout the evening, we have decided that it is in the best interest of our district to cancel school for the week (March 16th-22nd). We will take a look at the situation at the end of the weekend and determine what our plan is going forward. We apologize for the inconvenience that this places on you and your family. Attention: Maxwell prom is being moved to Saturday, May 2nd. We have been in contact with Hirschfelds and they are aware. All orders will automatically be transferred to that date. You do not need to call them. Thanks for your understanding!

Announcements for 3/10/2020: Spirit squad practice is changed to Tuesday, March 17th at 7 a.m. Reminder To All Athletes! Lift-A-Thon testing is one week away, Starting Monday March 16. Announcements for 3/6/2020: Spirit team tryout packets are in the nurse's office all this week. Students grades 8-11 are eligible to try out. A mandatory meeting starts Monday, March 9th at 7:00 a.m. in the fourth grade room. Prom tickets are available in the office. They need to be purchased by the end of the day today. Cost per ticket is $14.00. The lunch menu today features chicken and noodles with mashed potatoes & dinner roll. Good luck to the speech team at North Platte tomorrow.

Monday March 2 from 5:30-7:30 in the old gym is the Edgerton Explorit Zone! All ages welcome, bring your family, come see what it’s all about! It’s that time of year again, the spirit squad will be having tryouts. We would love to see your spirit roar. Tryouts will be held on April 2nd. There will be 3 mandatory meetings starting March 9th. If you are interested please get a packet for more information in the Nurse's office or Ms. Keith's 4th grade room. Packets will be available on Monday, March 2nd. Announcements for 2/27/2020: Good luck to the boys basketball team tonight! The theme for the game is Jersey. Wear your best team jersey. Game will be played at 6:30 pm in Hershey. Monday March 2 from 5:30-7:30 is the Edgerton Science Family Night in the old gym. All ages welcome, bring your family, see a live raptor! Students grades 9-12 there will be a Chromebook and charger check on the March 4th late start during homeroom. You will need to have your Chromebook and charger with you. Also congrats to the following students for earning superiors at Saturday's Ogallala Speech Meet: Jett Simpson in Persuasive and Carley Jackson in Serious Prose The theme for Tuesday Boys Sub Districts is Western. The game will begin at 7:00 pm in Hershey vs. Maywood Hayes-Center. Make sure to come out and support the boys in your best western attire! The lunch menu today features hamburger or corn dog with French fries.

Wrestling Championship day 3 update: Derek Gibson (160) finished 6th place! Kayden Stubbs (195) finished 6th place! Luke Howitt (220) finished Class D State Runner Up! Great job to all the wrestlers on a great season! WE ARE MAXWELL!

Day 2 of state wrestling update! Ethan Norton (106) went 1-1, Wyatt Heessel (106) went 0-1, Jacob Gholson (126) went 0-1. Derek Gibson (160) went 2-0, Kayden Stubbs (195) went 3-0, and Luke Howitt (220) went 1-0. Kayden Stubbs, Derek Gibson, and Luke Howitt wrestle again tomorrow for medals. Congratulations to Luke Howitt for pinning his semifinals matchup and advancing to the STATE FINALS! Go Wildcats!

Announcements for 2/21/2020: Good luck to the boys basketball team hosting Loomis tonight. JV boys will play 2 quarters starting at 6:00 pm. The theme for tonight’s game is Black Out.
